Lounge Areas, you are welcome to make use of the two lounge areas in the hotel as well as the further seating area around the wood burning stove. These are good for relaxing and having drinks from the House Bar.
Newtonmore is an excellent centre for walking, with trails suitable for all grades of walker from gentle riverside strolls to serious hills walking in the several Munros accessible from Newtonmore.
Aviemore and the Cairngorms are only 15 miles away and Loch Ness, Fort William, Inverness and the towns of the Spey Valley Whisky Trail are within an hours drive of the hotel
The hotel is located only 20 yards from the first tee at Newtonmore Golf Club and therefore is an ideal location for golfing parties.
Newtonmore is also in the centre of "Monarch of the Glen" country and you can visit many of the sites used in the popular BBC TV Series.
